Help Us Raise £25,000 to save the Centre

The Inspire discovery centre has been under threat of closure for several months because the countrywide charity that owned and ran the centre was unable to continue it's support. It is absolutely vital that the centre continues its work educating and inspiring the young to enjoy and learn about science. So it is now up to the people of Norfolk and Norwich to help fund this fantastic resource.

A committee has been formed to oversee the transformation from part of a large organization to a stand alone centre. We are setting up a charity and full managing structures to operate long term as well as pursuing a long term fund raising campaign. We are confident in our long term support from local businesses, the council and a group of friends who we hope will be able to commit to an annual donation towards the running costs. This will take time to setup as each organization has to deal with their own committees before agreeing to fund us.

However in the short term we need £25,000. The good news is that we have already have £7,500 from various sources so we are off to a great start. It is vital that we raise this money in the next two months and keep the momentum going.
